What offtheave is
offtheave is a social music platform for independent hip-hop artists and their fans. Artists upload songs, mixtapes, beats and videos, sell their work, and build a following in one place.
It started in 2006 as a hip-hop forum and has been rebuilt several times since. The current version, OTAv5, arrived in 2026, the site's 20th year, with a new player, Creator Studio analytics, Stripe checkout and XP rewards.
