Privacy policy
What avenuempire.com collects, why, and what we do with it. Last updated 10/01/2026.
This policy covers avenuempire.com only. offtheave.com, fedora.meme and fedora.foundation each have their own privacy policy on their own site.
The short version
- You can browse this site without an account. There's nothing to sign up for here.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful.
- If you use the contact form, we receive what you type so we can reply.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't run ads on this site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how people arrive (for example from a search or a link), roughly where they are (country and city level), and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. It does not tell us who you are.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can see how Google uses data from sites like ours at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
The contact form
When you send a message we receive your name, email address, the topic you picked and your message, along with the time and your IP address. We use them to read and reply to your message, and the IP address to stop spam and limit how often the form can be used. A copy of each message is kept on our server so we can follow up. We don't add you to any mailing list.
The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that you're a person. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you interact with the page, and sends it to Google. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Your settings
If you pick a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard logs of requests (such as IP address, page requested, time and browser). They're used to keep the site running and secure, and are kept only as long as our hosting keeps them.
News from our sites
The News section shows announcements published by our own sites. Reading them here doesn't share anything about you with those sites. If you follow a link to one of them, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out add-on above. The site works the same without them.
- To ask what we hold about you from the contact form, or to have it deleted, send us a message.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
