Your XP no longer has to stay where you earned it.
XP from fedora.meme and offtheave.com can now be brought to fedora.foundation, where it becomes convertible to $DORA. Connect the same wallet here that you use there, and your dashboard shows what is waiting on each site.
Level, XP, $DORA
Three words, three different things. They get confused constantly.
- Level is everything you have ever earned on a site. It sets your rank there, and it only goes up.
- XP is a spendable balance. This is the part that moves.
- $DORA is what XP becomes once it is here.
Bringing XP over does not touch your Level or your rank. Your spendable balance drops, because you moved it. Your standing stays exactly where it was. Nothing you earned is taken away from you.
How
- Connect the same wallet you use on the other site. That wallet is the only thing linking your accounts.
- Find the XP elsewhere card on your dashboard.
- Type an amount. All of it, or any part of it.
- Confirm. You see what you will be left with on both sides before anything moves.
No minimum, no maximum, no fee, as often as you like.
Two things worth knowing
Imported XP does not vote. XP earned here counts toward your rank, the leaderboard and your weight in governance. XP brought from another site is fully convertible to $DORA and does none of that. Governance here should reflect participation here.
Cashing out is next, and the rate is not set yet. Moving XP now neither locks in a rate nor misses one, because the rate applies when you convert, not when you transfer. There is nothing to gain by rushing and nothing to lose by waiting. The rate will be published here before anyone can convert anything.
